TALK TUESDAY / Inside the Studio with Forever Young

For about a month, the boys of Forever Young were in and out of the studio recording a couple of singles. They recorded in the quiet Texas hill country with Interval Audio Recording. I spent early mornings and late nights with them as they recorded for hours on end. It was my first time documenting a band in the studio so everything was new and- maybe a bit too- exciting, for me. It blew my mind how a musician can sit still for hours just playing and replaying chords to get the absolute perfect take. Even when I thought everything sounded on point, they still wanted to make it even better. Being surrounded by that degree of drive and passion isn’t something you come across often so it was amazingly surreal to watch the whole team at work.
