Gallery / Brite Winter

BY BARBARA WITHEROW

Brite Winter celebrated ten years on February 23, on the West Bank of the Flats in Cleveland, Ohio. The day was chilly, with a cold wind and some precipitation throughout the day.

The festival featured over 40 musicians from across the country on five different stages, live ice sculping, fire dancing, artists, nonprofits and vendors from the greater Cleveland area. They had tents themed to take you to different environments, land, air and sea.

To keep warm, fire pits (with smore kits available for purchase) were scattered near the stages and heated tents were placed throughout the grounds.

Brite Winter brings the whole community together to support local businesses and artists and reminds Clevelanders how strong they are when it comes to braving the middle of winter for art.
